Rosehip (Rosa canina L.) is an important medicinal, and ornamental plant species with high commercial value. Its sugars, phenolics, organic acids, water-soluble vitamins, mineral contents composition varies depending on environmental conditions genetics. The also used as a perfect rootstock for many rose cultivars. Seed proliferation extremely difficult because of multiple endogenous exogenous dormancy factors. There need to breed standard rosehip cultivars developments desired characteristics outperforming yields in fields. study aimed break the seed under vitro by application strategies efficient manner. seeds were treated different doses GA₃, scarified mechanically, stratified agar solidified MS medium containing GA₃ singly or combinations two each three treatments, subjecting them regulated physiological treatment alternating warm/chilling cold/dark treatments parallel 21 d ensued 18 warm/light treatments. It was noted that could be germinated variably if without GA3. Optimum germination (80.00- 85.00%) when combined subjected warm chilling leaving warm/light.
